AsShah Rukh Khan's Don 2 completed 9 years today, actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar took to social media to celebrate the ninth anniversary of his directorial Don 2. Farhan posted a video Donis a 1978 Indian Hindi-language crime action thriller film directed by Chandra Barot, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Zeenat Aman and Pran.Written by Salim-Javed, and produced by Nariman Irani, the film also features Iftekhar, Om Shivpuri, and Satyen Kappu in pivotal roles. Bachchan played dual roles, as the titular character and his lookalike simpleton. Eventhough the idea looks unique, Shah Rukh Khan wasn't very happy about Don 3 being driven by that concept. So, he immediately rejected it, thus making Farhan Akhtar come back to zero. Rumourhas it Farhan Akhtar wanted OG Don aka Amitabh Bachchan and the new-age Don aka Shah Rukh Khan to come together in Don 3. If a new report is to be believed, Farhan is making Don 3 bigger than ever and wanted to reunite superstars Amitabh and SRK in the film. Don 3 has been long in the discussion. Thereis no Don 3 happening in the near future, and certainly not with Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. Why would they come together to do Don again?
